Profhilo
Dubbed as the industries first 'beneath the skin' moisturising injectable and containing one of the highest concentrations of Hyaluronic Acid on the market, Profhilo is a revolutionary product comprised of patented NAYCHO technology, its low molecular weight has a 2cm diffusion radius giving it the ability to cover a large surface area. When injected, Profhilo has a prolonged stimulatory effect, targeting skin cell receptors to counteract laxity and sagging tissue.

Typically you can expect to need a course of two to three treatments, followed by maintenance every 4-6 months. This is entirely dependent on the individual and will be discussed with you during your consultation. Areas commonly treated with profhilo include the face, neck, chest, abdomen, arms and knees. This treatment can be beneficial for all ages due to its remodelling capabilities.
As we age, the production of collagen, elastin, fat and hyaluronic acid that we produce reduces. From the age of around 30, this can result in a noticeable shift from a firm, glowing complexion to dull, lax skin. Profhilo is not used to change the shape of your face, but rather restore firmness often lost along the ageing process. The product is applied in a total of 10 superficial injection points spread across the face, using the Bio Aesthetic Points (BAP) technique. Your practitioner can apply topical numbing cream prior to your treatment to combat any discomfort. You will typically have two or three treatments, four weeks apart and then move onto maintenance therapy every 4-6 months.
New to the UK, Profhilo Body is the only injectable treatment indicated for body skin laxity. The product ingredients do not differ from Profhilo Face, however the volume of product is larger in order to cover a wider surface area. When injected, Profhilo body deeply hydrates the skin, triggering collagen and elastin production that targets laxity and dramatically improves skin quality. The treatment regime remains the same, with exceptional results seen in the abdomen, arms and knees. A separate body template is used to map out the injection pathway and topical numbing cream can be utilised to combat discomfort.
